Temperament & Intelligence of the Banter Bulldogge

Easy to train and obedient, the Banter Bulldogge aims to please its owner. Even though this breed looks intimidating with its solid build and big size, underneath that bulky exterior is a good-natured dog that loves to play. When a Banter Bulldogge is socialized well, it can live in harmony with other animals even though it has a tendency to chase small critters.

The Banter Bulldogge requires a strong-minded owner the dog can respect as a natural authority. This dog has a calm even-tempered demeanor. It makes a great companion and loyal friend to any experienced dog owner who takes a firm yet gentle approach to training.

Are These Dogs Good for Families?

If your family is looking for a friendly and loyal dog to use as a guard dog, you can’t go wrong with the Banter Bulldogge. This protective dog won’t hesitate to alert you to any suspicious activity around the home.

Does This Breed Get Along with Other Pets?

Things to Know When Owning a Banter Bulldogge:

Owning and caring for a Banter Bulldogge requires time, patience, and money. Before you get this breed of dog, there are a few things you should know.

Food & Diet Requirements

Large breed dogs like the Banter Bulldogge thrive when they’re fed high-quality dog food. It’s essential that a Banter Bulldogge gets all the nutrients it needs for a healthy coat, skin, teeth, and overall health. This dog, like other breeds, needs a variety of vitamins and minerals as we do.

If a Banter Bulldogge doesn’t eat a healthy diet, it can be more susceptible to illness and infection.  A poor diet can also make the dog more likely to suffer from skin problems and other issues like gastrointestinal upset. Instead of buying budget dog food, purchase high-quality dog food that’s loaded with all the vitamins, minerals, and nutrients your Banter Bulldogge needs to live a happy and long life.

Exercise

The Banter Bulldogge is a fairly active dog that needs plenty of daily exercise. This dog should be walked at least twice a day and given the opportunity to run and romp in a yard or dog park. The ideal living situation for this breed is a home with a large enclosed yard. A Banter Bulldogge loves to run free, exploring its surroundings and playing with other dogs and people.

Training

Training a Banter Bulldogge is relatively easy because this dog is smart and eager to please. Because this breed can be dominant, it requires a firm and gentle approach to training so it knows who’s boss.  When training a Banter Bulldog, establish yourself as a pack leader and train with consistency. Keep your training sessions short and engaging so the dog won’t become bored. Remember that the Banter Bulldogge is an intelligent breed that thrives on both physical and mental stimulation.

Grooming ✂️

Thanks to its short and smooth coat, a Banter Bulldogge is easy to groom. This dog does shed some so it’s a good idea to brush the dog at least once a week. Use a soft-bristled brush and remove excess hair to keep the dog’s coat smooth and healthy. You can bathe this dog without any problems when it’s appropriate to do so. Just don’t overdo it with the baths as repeated bathing can dry the dog’s skin.

The Banter Bulldogge is generally a happy and healthy dog breed with a few exceptions.

Minor Conditions
  • Allergies
  • Dry skin
  • Glaucoma

Serious Conditions
